How learner places work
Flexible places, rollover & sensible terms
Each subscription includes access for the number of individual learners selected. Once a learner starts training, that learner place is assigned to them and cannot be transferred to another person. Unused learner places can roll over into the following year.
E-learning access lasts for 12 months from when the learner starts their first course.
Live Zoom training is booked onto scheduled sessions. Learners can complete sessions in any order — over multiple weeks to fit around rotas, or all in the same week for fastest turnaround. Zoom bookings can be changed free of charge up until the session begins.

Questions, answered
What is the difference between a bundle and a subscription?
A bundle is a one-off purchase. A subscription gives your organisation learner places across the year, with monthly payments over a minimum 12-month term.
Can I buy training for one learner?
Yes. You can buy individual e-learning courses, individual Live Zoom modules or one-off bundles.
Can learners complete the Care Certificate by e-learning?
No. The Care Certificate programme is delivered by Live Zoom only. Learners must complete all required Live Zoom modules because each session includes Care Certificate content that is not available in the e-learning courses.
Who signs off the Care Certificate?
Total Training provides the trainer-led learning, mapped workbook evidence and certificates of attendance for the manager to review and issue the Care Certificate. The Care Certificate must be signed off by the employer or manager because it is workplace specific and some standards require workplace competence to be assessed in the learner's role.
Can unused subscription places roll over?
Yes. Any unused learner places can roll over into the following year for up to 12 months.
Can learner places be transferred?
Once a learner has started their training, that learner place is assigned to them and cannot be transferred to another person.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Prices are shown excluding VAT.
