Live Zoom only · eight modules

The Care Certificate Programme is delivered by Live Zoom only — each session includes Care Certificate content that is not available in our e-learning courses. Learners complete a workbook of evidence throughout, with a dedicated manager section to support employer sign-off.

Care Certificate FAQs

Who signs off the Care Certificate?

Total Training provides the trainer-led learning, mapped workbook evidence and certificates of attendance for the manager to review and issue the Care Certificate. The Care Certificate must be signed off by the employer or manager because it is workplace specific and some standards require workplace competence to be assessed in the learner's role.

Can learners complete the Care Certificate by e-learning?

No. The Care Certificate Programme is delivered by Live Zoom only. Learners must complete all required Live Zoom modules because each session includes Care Certificate content that is not available in the e-learning courses.

How long does the programme take?

Eight 3-hour Live Zoom modules. Learners can complete them in any order — over multiple weeks to fit around rotas, or all in one week for fastest turnaround.

Is the Care Certificate included in any subscription?

Yes — the Live Zoom + E-learning subscription includes the Care Certificate free of charge. The E-learning-only subscription does not.
